Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Implementation, maintenance and support of the organizational, clinical and non- clinical information systems within the cardiovascular services
- Serves as primary liaison between administration, clinical staff and physicians in the cardiovascular departments and MIS, vendors, and other departmental personnel
- Data management and analysis
- Responsible for development and oversight of cardiovascular management outcomes reporting under the direction of the Director of Cardiovascular Services (i.e. regulatory and quality reporting)
- In collaboration with other departments develops and maintain a comprehensive cardiovascular dictionary with knowledge of procedural codes and CMS information to assure proper charges and reimbursement under the supervision of the Director of Cardiovascular Services
- Monitor procedural activity with special attention to proper clinical documentation as well as billing

„h Proven Ability to configure, maintain and document clinical information systems (Experience with digital cardiovascular systems a plus)
„h Knowledge/Experience with cardiovascular operations (Cath Lab experience a plus)
„h Experience with database management and statistical analysis
„h Ability to utilize industry standard software applications (including, but not limited to MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)
„h Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
„h Strong organizational and communication (oral and written) skills
„h Ability to work with minimal supervision
